The age gate is a single screen. It asks a visitor to confirm being twenty-one or older before the pages behind it open. It is brief by design, and it is not decoration.
Many adult services draw their line at the age of majority. This house draws it higher, deliberately, and applies it to clients and therapists alike. Each of the forty-five therapists is twenty-one or over, and the office accepts bookings only from clients who are too. A higher line leaves a margin, and a margin is the purpose of a rule like this one.
A screen can be clicked through; the rule cannot. At the door a therapist can request identification, and a booking where age cannot be established does not go ahead. A booking made on someone else's behalf, a birthday surprise for instance, requires that person to meet the same line. The line does not bend for occasions either: a bachelor party or a graduation trip is held to the same test as any other booking.
